     Daisy Hind vanishes on her way back from showing her grandmother her bridesmaids dress. Her body is found and shortly afterwards another young boy goes missing.  Will Senior Investigating Officer Jack Dylan be able to find him before it is too late? Is there a serial killer on the lose? In the mean time, Dylan is attacked on the job and his health begins to slowly deteriorate. The tension mounts as Dylan tries to catch the killer and keep a balance in his personal life with the women he loves.

     This is the first book by the husband and wife writing team of Bob and Carol Bridgestock. Between the two of them , they have almost a half a century in police service. The book shows obvious signs of first hand experience in the field. I don't think anyone could have written with so much feeling and emotion without some personal experience behind them. I have read many great mystery and suspense books; but there is a different feeling when you read this book that could only be captured from first hand experience.

     I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and was unable to put it down once I started it. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of murder mysteries and even those who are not. Get ready to be thrilled and maybe shed some tears. Be prepared to sit a spell and finish the book in one sitting. I don't think you will be able to stop reading once you start. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
