Review of Dream Kisses

Dream Kisses (Romance on the Ranch, #1)

Dream Kisses
Verna Clay
MOI Publishing 2012
Kindle Edition

Sarah Carter, AKA Mims Murphy meets Sage Tanner at Imaginings Publishing where he is posing for the cover of her new romance novel. Her publisher cons her into lunch where the handsome hunk kisses her hand. Sarah takes it wrong and completely over reacts.
After the encounter, Sarah decides she needs to do research for her book and signs up for a stay at the Lazy M Dude Ranch. Much to her chagrin, she discovers that Sage is the owner of the ranch.
This is the first book in the Romance on the Ranch Series. It is definitely a chick-lit book full of sexual tension, humor, and a few very brief sexual scenes. If you are looking for hard gore sex scenes, you won't find them here. This is not erotic reading. It is a light, fun read that moves quickly and is quite enjoyable. Sage Tanner is the kind of man that most women dream of encountering at least once in their life time. Sarah is a bit over reactive and tends to get on your nerves. She is very insecure and uncertain about her looks and size. She is her own worst enemy when it comes to most things. Despite that fact, I would recommend this for a light read which can be easily read in one sitting.
I was provided a copy by the author for reading an reviewing purposes. I was not required to write a positive review. I was not compensated except to receive the book to review.

I give Dream Kisses 4 out of 5 stars

  1. This sounds like a fun, sweet, book. My sister-in-law is insane about anything involving cowboys. Dream Kisses sounds perfect for her.
    Nice review! :)
