   PI, Richard Steele has solved many a case; but his most challenging has just arrived. Steele must solve his own murder. He is caught between two worlds and cannot travel forward until  his murder is solved. No amount of luck will help him this time. He must depend on his only weapon, faith. He must confront his own feelings, as well as, that age old thing called love. To make matters worse, he has his lover Lee on one side and his ex-wife on the other who is determined to make his afterlife as miserable as she can.

   I am a fairly new reader of Scott Nicholson's work; but each piece that I read just gets better. He has his own style of writing that has a way of drawing you in from the very start. He has quite the imagination and brings his characters to life. They are strong, yet vulnerable. He has a way with dialogue that just keeps you guessing. His characters are serious; but they have a humorous side as well. He can definitely make you laugh.

   If you are in the market for a fast paced, humorous read; I highly recommend this book. You will be able to read it in one sitting. Curl up and take a load off and enjoy the ride.
